TotalPure® POE – Advanced 5-Stage Patented Filtration

The TotalPure Point-of-Entry system is built around a proprietary 5-stage patented filtration design, engineered to safeguard water systems from a broad spectrum of contaminants and operational risks. Each stage is purpose-built, working in harmony to deliver high-capacity, whole-facility protection with clean, safe, and consistently high-quality water.

Stage 1 – Sediment Filtration
The first line of defense is the sediment filter, which captures physical impurities such as sand, silt, rust, and fine particulate matter. Left untreated, these contaminants can damage plumbing infrastructure, reduce equipment efficiency, and cause staining or buildup in water systems.

Stage 2 – KDF Media
Our Kinetic Degradation Fluxion (KDF) media significantly enhances filtration performance through heavy metal reduction and bacteriostatic protection. It effectively reduces lead, mercury, iron, and other metals commonly found in municipal and well water supplies. KDF also neutralizes hydrogen sulfide, eliminating the “rotten egg” odor, while inhibiting bacterial growth and biofilm formation inside the filter housing. This not only safeguards water quality but also extends the carbon block’s lifespan and maintains system efficiency.

Stage 3 – Activated Carbon Block
A high-density activated carbon block targets chemical contaminants, reducing chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, herbicides, and unpleasant tastes or odors. By improving the sensory quality of water and removing chemicals that can harm equipment or pose long-term health risks, this stage is essential for both user safety and system reliability.

Stage 4 – Polyphosphate Cartridge
This specialized cartridge inhibits scale formation and protects against corrosion. It stabilizes calcium, magnesium, and iron to minimize limescale on heating elements, fixtures, and system components. The result is extended equipment life, optimal flow performance, and reduced maintenance, making it particularly valuable in hard-water environments.

Stage 5 – Hollow Fiber Ultrafiltration Membrane
The final stage is dedicated to microbiological safety. Water passes through an ultrafiltration membrane with a pore size of 0.08 microns, delivering up to Log 8 (99.999999%) bacteria reduction. This stage effectively blocks pathogens such as Legionella pneumophila, Nontuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM), E. coli, Salmonella and some viruses. The result is water that is not only visibly clean but also microbiologically safe, providing exceptional protection in healthcare, hospitality, residential, and other high-demand environments.
